Essex Golf & Country Club - Now Ranked #16 in Ontario
Having moved from #25 to #20 in the 2009 rankings, Essex Golf & Country Club has made another significant step forward in the 2011 Top 100 Golf Course rankings conducted by Ontario Golf Magazine and is now the #16 ranked golf course in the province.
Essex is a wonderfully crafted classic Donald Ross design that has continued to stand the test of time. Known for excellent course conditions and fast, smooth greens, Essex continues to be a truly memorable experience for all who play it.

A par five requiring long, exacting shots. The drive must be faded to setup for accurate placement of the second shot. Trees heavily line the fairway. The approach shot is all carry to the dual elevated green. An approach shot landing on the wrong side of the swale is trouble. |
