Essex Golf & Country Club - Now Ranked #16 in Ontario
Having moved from #25 to #20 in the 2009 rankings, Essex Golf & Country Club has made another significant step forward in the 2011 Top 100 Golf Course rankings conducted by Ontario Golf Magazine and is now the #16 ranked golf course in the province.
Essex is a wonderfully crafted classic Donald Ross design that has continued to stand the test of time. Known for excellent course conditions and fast, smooth greens, Essex continues to be a truly memorable experience for all who play it.

A par five which demands an accurate second shot in order to avoid the deep wooded rough to the right, and a water hazard on the left side which extends in front of the green. The large rolling green is again well bunkered, but will receive an accurate wedge shot. A true par five which will give up few birdie chances. |
